Kyle Hislip is an artist who works primarily with photography and videography.

Portraiture, urban culture, and nocturnal landscape are his most recent interests.

He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, earning a Masters degree in Digital Photography. He has studied with fine art photographers Elinor Carucci, Mary Ellen Mark, and Duane Michals, as well as studies in Fine Arts at Cooper Union New York City.

Recent exhibitions include The Joy of Wrong Turns at the Cherry East Gallery Knoxville; Call the Dogs/South x Southeast Gallery, Martin Luther King Gallery of Arts Tribute/The Emporium, Knoxville; People Places and Things/BirdHouse Gallery, Knoxville;Artists Exhibition/People Magazine Photo Gallery.NYC,The Strangers Show/Soho Photo Gallery NYC.

Awards: Time Inc. Presidents Award, MPS Digital Photo 2018 Thesis Scholarship Recipient, School of Visual Arts New York City.
